Economics for Journalists Short-course

In April 2009 the Centre for Economics Journalism in Africa held a short course over a period of five days where journalists from Southern Africa converged at the Rhodes University Africa Media Matrix.  This course was the first constituent part of the newly launched Post-Graduate Diploma in Economics Journalism (PGDip EJ), for which each participant was accredited.  The participants enjoyed an intuitive discussion and the sharing of diverse information.  We look forward to the launching of the second module of this Diploma later in the year, and the completion of this entire course over the next two years.
